• PATCH TOMORROW •

Edit: Added balance changes at the bottom. Barring any unforeseen problems we plan on pushing up a patch tomorrow. While the patch notes aren't yet complete we wanted to give you heads up on some of the fixes and changes. We'll be pushing up the full patch notes later tonight or tomorrow morning when they are 100% finalized. We hope this patch has a little something for everyone! We estimate the patch will be going up around the normal time 10:00-2:00 MST. FIXES AND UPDATES • Conflict channel is now on by default for new players. • It is now possible to ignore players from the enemy alliance. • Units will now rotate properly to face enemies they are attacking allowing flanking to work properly. • Pressing ESC key will now cancel chat being typed in battle. • Using the arrow keys in chat should no longer produce strange results. • You now have to verify the name of a nation before you can delete it. • Pressing the ENTER key in nation management will now launch the selected nation. • The main channels: General, Trade, and Conflict, have been assigned channel numbers, 1, 2, 3 respectively. So you can type /2 to chat in trade or /3 to chat in conflict. The old methods still work. • Guides and SAGA admin chat in help chat are now highlighted with a lighter yellow. • Fixed a crash when getting disconnected at the same time you accept an espionage and get the response. • Pressing ESCAPE once again closes the quest map. • Fixed a display error when spying on a city. Happiness should now display correctly. • Fixed an issue which could cause players to be unable to create battles. • Fixed a potential crash with displaying text with no characters. • When pressing shift to add or subtract peasants in Peasant Management will first clamp to available workers, pressing again will fill out to population. • Added texture quality slider in options. • Added more options for troop AI in quests. • XP is now gained by damage and not by kill. • Shift click +/- buttons in trade to add 1000 resources(instead of 100 for single click) or 10 cards(instead of 1 for single). Should be working for all tabs. • Gold quests now indicate that they've been completed. • Improved the overall lighting in the game for video cards that support shaders. Shaders can be turned off in usersettings.ini by setting useshaders=0. • Units on hold ground should no longer sporadically crash the game when they are killed. • 'Set as spawn point' button disappears from a building you possess when it is taken over and you have the building selected. • Card rarity can now be seen in both unit modify screen and market. • Hit points can now be seen in both unit modify screen and market. • Players can use shift-click with attachments to add 1000/10 resources/cards. • Minimap now uses a new lighting method. • Minor improvement to water rendering. • Fixed a bug with email attachments and scrolling. • Fixed range indicator to be more accurate. • Greatly increased the quality of grass rendering. • XP Floaties are now working properly again. • Added a brightness option to the usersettings.ini. • Added an option to turn off the dirty word filter in the usersettings.ini. • Increased game performance during battles. • Fixed deploy timer so it correctly updates when you try to surrender. • Stamina now works properly (units no longer all have the same stamina). • Fixed numerous server stability issues. • Fixed a bug which would allow players to build two structures in one spot if they had a laggy connection to the server. • Polished the options screen. • Fixed the hotkeys tab in the options screen. • Added options to the graphics section of the options screen for Enhanced Lighting and Light Intensity. • Fixed an issue where stone would sometimes not be properly rewarded. • Resolved several issues with guilds wars (they should no longer break sometimes when surrendering for example). • Fixed the peasant management screen shift-click action. BALANCE CHANGES • All troops have had their stamina values adjusted for the new system.
