• Patch 1.48.1 Later today •

13 August 2009

Patch 1.48.1 will be landing later today, but in the meantime, we thought you'd like to see the changes being made. Most of the changes made are back-end changes to servers and code that players don't see, but there are a few exciting new additions to the game.

Most notably, we've made tournaments a little more intense, and we've expanded the settings available in the options screen.

UPDATES AND FIXES

- Augmented the drop rate of contest items and named items (most particularly the contest winners' items).

- Fixed a bug that would ignore your options for chat in each tab.

- A tab for help chat was added to the main chat box.

- Fixed a bug that rarely occurred when entering a booster pack code.

- Greatly increased the functionality of the mouse being restricted to the screen for multiple monitor setups.

Tournaments

- Increased the number of troops received for a tournament. Player now open a fourth pack containing 8 uncommons and 2 rares.

- Playing in a tournament battle will now affect happiness the same as if you won a quest.

- Tournament battles will now give you twice the Production Hours as quests and PvP battles whether you win or lose.

- The button for entering the Tournament Store from the Tournament Window is now enabled.

- Increased the speed at which the cards fade in when opening your packs at the beginning of a tournament.
