We apologize for the server downtime and the website downtime that started later last night.
The servers are now up and running again, and the offending machine has been replaced. The issue at hand was that the login server was overly taxing upon the database's connections. We worked through the night to re-establish the database, and this issue should not re-occur.
There have been a number of issues over the course of the last week, and as soon as the next patch is fully tested and in place, we will be compensating our players appropriately for the inconvenience.
