• Unit of the Week: War Rhino (Plus an Ogre Update) •

The old expression, "opposites attract," doesn't always hold true in everyday life. Goth kids tend to hang out with other goth kids, gamers seek out other gamers, and large, frightening creatures with lots of spiky parts enjoy the company of other large, frightening creatures with lots of spiky parts. The solid partnership between ogre and rhino must have been a match arranged by Rathos, himself. They have all the same hobbies (trampling the unwary, rolling in the mud), and they smell nearly indistinguishable from one another. Truly, it was meant to be.

However, when your mount is a near-sighted, highly excitable 2 ton mammal, you don't control it, so much as steer it in the general direction you'd like to go and hope for the best. A war rhino's special allows it to charge random units for 800% damage (a new target is chosen every 5 seconds, for up to 30 seconds). It's a highly formidable opponent on the battlefield- and ally or not, you'd be well-advised to give it a wide berth when it's on a rampage.

The arrival of the war rhino also heralds some exciting changes for the War nation. Our talented art team has updated the appearance of the ogres, who are now sporting that shiny new "I-can-tear-your-arms-off-and-shove-them-in-your-ears" look. It's all the rage! This update affects ogre hammerfiends, champions, halberdiers, and even ogre magi.
