If you are amongst those who are now being asked to download upwards of 7000 files for this new patch, a different solution should be taken. It is going to be far quicker to uninstall your current SAGA client, and reinstall the new one. That way you get to download 444 Mb compressed rather than about 900 Mb through the patcher.
