• Patch 1.44.1 Release Notes •

8 September 2008

The new patch is here, mostly with a lot of little items of note.

Throughout the next few weeks, you can expect to see a lot more quests and content. Stay tuned for a quest-related announcement later this week. While our quest-writers are busily adding new quests, our development team will be concentrating on improving SAGA's already implemented features.

FIXES AND UPDATES

- When a ranged unit is selected and you put your mouse cursor over a target unit within range, a path of the projectile will appear. If it is green, the ranged unit can both see and hit its target. If the path is yellow, the ranged unit can hit its target, but not see it. If the path is red, it means that the target cannot be seen or hit.

- A fifth option, the Quest Guide, has been added to the Help Window. It currently has information on Territory quests, Once-only quests, and Heroic quests for each faction (normal Bronze/Silver/Gold quests will be added in a later patch).

- The market will now show an Undead icon on trades submitted by Undead nations.

- Undead nations can no longer chat in Order general chat.

- The '/who faction undead' chat command should now work properly.

- Significantly reduced loading times for some players.

- The after battle survey has been removed.

- Fixed a bug that said you are already logged in when trying to log in.

- A lot of fixes and additions to the new quest scripting system

- The 4th Nature city layout has had a bridge added across the water on the Eastern half of the map.

QUEST CHANGES

Undead Arena 1 - Changed starting CP from 90 to 85.

Mini Megalomania - Changed level to 25 and CP to 170.

Needle in a Haystack - This quest will not be present this patch, as it is being re-worked using the new scripting system.

Various quests have had minor bug fixes as well.

Lich - Special - Fear - Enemy units Suffer -100 moral -15% speed, cooldown 45, Area Effect 20m (was cooldown 30, Area Effect 25m)

Regereation - Target friendly unit heals 35-60 hit points and suffers -2% AR every second for 30 seconds (was -50% AR for 30 seconds)

Orc Infantry - AR - 21 (was 20), Damage - 9-17 (was 7-17)

Orc Archers - Damage - 15-30 (was 15-35)

Orc Dog Soldier - Damage - 18-30 (was 20-35)
