What is the setting of saga?

There are two main aspects of gameplay in Saga. The first is managing your nation. During nation management you will be able to check the status of your nation, instruct your peasants’ activities, visit the market to trade resources, troops, and spells, and work with your guild to create a powerful empire. The second aspect of gameplay takes place on the battlefield, where players marshal their units in massive online battles, similar to the LAN or online battles of most RTS games.
